At this point the foundation walls are complete and the forms have been removed. Here are a couple pictures from this past weekend right after the forms were taken off. Note: Click on any image to see a larger view.

Looking from the side yard at the garage end. 2 car garage is nearest (with large pile of dirt in the middle), then lower level is basement.

Looking from the rear of the house at the garage end. You can see the walkout basement opening as well as an opening for a window in the rear wall of the basement.

From the same side again, but now looking to across the front of the house. If you look closely (click on the image for a larger view) you can see the lake through the trees just past the far side wall of the house.

View from the street. The gravel shows where the driveway will go up into the 2 car garage on the left. From the corner of the garage to the wall that juts out towards the street (the living room) there will be a front porch and the front door will be at the right end of the porch.

Well, since there is still a long winter ahead before our new house will look like this, here are a few pictures of the same model–in fact, we almost bought this one! So, although we may make minor changes and color choices, this is basically several shots of the outside and inside of the house we will end up building on our lot.

From the outside–this will be the same orientation that we build with 2 car garage on the left side of the house
